A share CFD tracks the price of a single company's stock. You trade the price move without owning the share itself, which means you can go long or short from the same account. StoicMarkets lists CFDs on major global companies. The list covers technology names like Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Alphabet, Tesla and Netflix, financials such as JPMorgan, Visa and Mastercard, and household names from Coca-Cola to Ferrari and Boeing. The range spans several sectors, from technology and banking to consumer goods, energy and industrials.

A single stock moves on its own story more than the broad market does. Quarterly earnings are the main event. A company's revenue, its profit and the guidance it gives for the next quarter can move the share sharply within minutes of the report. Product launches, management changes, regulatory news and analyst rating changes all feed in. When a stock pays a dividend, the CFD price is adjusted for it, and long and short holders see a matching cash adjustment on the ex-dividend date. Membership of a big index can add flow when funds rebalance. Broad market moves still matter, since a sharp sell-off tends to drag most stocks down together regardless of their own news.

Share CFDs are most liquid while the stock's home exchange is open, which for the US names means the New York session. Prices can gap when a company reports earnings outside those hours, since the CFD reprices at the next open. Share CFDs carry leverage up to 1:10 on our server. That is lower than forex because a single stock can move a long way on one headline. These are leveraged products, and a gap through a stop after an earnings surprise can cost more than the margin held. Corporate actions like stock splits and special dividends are reflected in the CFD so the position keeps tracking the underlying stock.

CFDs are complex instruments and carry a high risk of rapid capital loss due to leverage. You should consider whether you understand how CFDs work and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money.
